Our renowned Microblock sole is made from a supple material that is extremely light yet durable and similar to rubber.

The raw Microblock piece which is comprised of multicolor layers fused together is cut directly into the shape of the shoe last.

The more traditional leather welt adds a touch of sophistication to the innately technical elements of the sole.

Finally, the articulated sole, initially taken by Robert Clergerie from an archival piece dating from 1943, is designed to add comfort to an otherwise rigid sole. It is used as the brand’s signature on every Microblock Sole and adds an additional level of comfort.
